We were absolutely delighted to welcome author Terri Allen to Lockhurst for a series of six engaging author readings with our students in grades K–5. Terri shared her beautifully written books, My Magical Garden and My Magical Tree, both of which gently guide children in understanding and managing their feelings through mindfulness and imagination.

Terri’s calm, encouraging presence made a lasting impact. Our students were captivated by her and connected with the messages of emotional awareness and inner peace.

It was a truly fantastic experience—not only enjoyable but meaningful. Terri Allen’s visit sparked important conversations in our classrooms and gave students tools they can use in their everyday lives. We would welcome her back to Lockhurst anytime!
